I wanted to try this class a I have a large photo collection and I’d like to and incorporate them into my illustrations. What I enjoyed most about the class, was using imagery that I wouldn’t ordinarily use, such as dinosaurs and butterflies, in fact the end result is what imagine a day in my nephew’s mind is like on a typical day! 

Sketch 

The sketch is very similar to Bryan’s design, I just added some clouds within the mountains.

 

Digital Collage

I chose to use a mixture of my own images, the files Bryan provided and images found on unsplah/pngimg.com. This class was a good class to try different effects like ‘bloom’ and ‘motion blur’ which I had never used before. I think my favourite part is the surprise visit from the Lochness Monster. I can’t wait to try different compositions in the future.
