My snake ring was created with the exact same technique. This is an example how it can look in metal (sterling silver 925/-). The pearl is a tahitian dark colored with a drilled hole, and it was glued on the "tongue" of the snake with epoxy glue. I have used Shapeways' print-on-demand service to print, cast and clean the design.
