Great job Elizabeth. You have chosen great photos to use and the final outcomes look great. You will find that some blend modes work for combining some images and others are better for others - screen works really well with your nightlights image here. The cat edit is fantastic! Thank you for posting your project.

My photograph of Darling Harbour, Sydney during the Winter Festival, blended with my Christmas lights photo.  I used screen mode, the overlay wasn't quite right.
