Hi Meryl, that's looking great. The shape of the armhole should change through the curve - that's what you want. As for the side seam, you're going to take that down to the hem without adding width there where you have the question mark. I'd recommend adding a dart there along the triangle of extra paper you've added. Thanks so much Robyn! This class has been invaluable for me. I really struggled getting back into sewing after pregnancy as my body has changed and no longer fits into standard patterns. Everything I made was too huge around the shoulders because I had to work from new bust and waist measures. But now I understand what's going on thanks to this course. Adjusting a McCalls pattern for a D-cup. Really would like to know what to do with the armhole, because it's now a different shape and is a long way from the side seam. Help?
