Hi Helen 

I have been practicing these text effects in my break time. It is so nice to have you on board. Your class session is purely on the patterns whether it is creative pattern or words.

Here is what I have got.

The first one is looking alright. But the actual lining effect is hidden due to the layer dark brown color.

 

So, I did change the line effect with White mode. And the original layer dark brown color is also changed to the 2 corners having a bent just to style the text plus the angle is skewed a bit. And Font is a bit bigger and wider too.

I have just tried one of the mountain pictures and blend it into Mock-up font with the color mix and shadow effect.

 

I have been mesmerized by the way of changing line effects work on Text and now font too.

And one more of text effects I did try.
