Creating Functional Zones in My Victorian Studio

I recently moved from a small studio space in our bedroom overlooking the lake at our home in Maine to this much larger gallery space in our 1900 Victorian home (which also doubles as an Airbnb).

Because the room is so big, I set up three different zones to make it feel more functional and inspiring. One zone is my computer and filming area — perfect for teaching my online courses on Skillshare and my own website.

Another is my stand-up desk with a walking treadmill, where I brainstorm and plan out new ideas.

The third zone is my painting space, tucked near the best natural light, where I work on commissions.

Having these different areas has really helped me stay organized, creative, and better focused depending on the project!

I love this course as it has helped give me so many ideas for making some changes to my spaces! Thanks, Chris!
