Creating Character Profile

Eric Powell

   Born March 27, 1994

**Family:** Eric comes from a family of six, including himself, two elder sisters, and one brother. As the youngest, he's always been surrounded by his siblings.

**Education:** He studied Graphic Design in college and secured a job at a major studio right after graduation.

**Career:** Eric worked as a graphic designer for about three to four years before transitioning into modeling, ultimately leading him to pursue acting.

**Relationship:** Over the years, Eric has been in relationships with about five different women, but currently, he is single. He often approached these relationships casually, leading to misunderstandings with his partners, which resulted in their breakdown. His last relationship ended on a sour note, and he struggles to forgive himself for how it all played out. Sometimes, he considers reaching out to his ex-girlfriend to apologize but often hesitates, convincing himself she’s better off without him.

**Backstory:** From a young age, Eric had a passion for drawing, often creating cartoons and stories. He began his career as a graphic designer, commuting on a bus while saving up for a car. His life took an unexpected turn when he met Daniel at the park, who was recruiting for a modeling agency. Initially dismissive, Eric eventually decided to try modeling, which led to appearances in music videos and a role in a network show titled *Crime and Judgment* as a suspect in a missing person case. This opportunity launched his acting career, where he gained recognition and secured major roles in well-received TV shows.

As his fame grew, so did the distance between him and his family, particularly when his mother was diagnosed with heart disease. To protect him, his family chose not to inform him about her condition. It wasn't until she was critically ill that they revealed the truth to him, which filled Eric with guilt for being preoccupied with his career. Following his mother's passing, he impulsively ended his relationships, seeking isolation. This led him to step back from the spotlight and return to graphic design.

**Socioeconomic Status:** Eric hails from a working-class family and has learned the value of hard work from a young age.

Motivation:** He aims to overcome his guilt and provide support to the ones he loves.

Wound or Fear: Eric's greatest regret is not spending more time with his mother during her final years. He blames the demands of his career for neglecting his family. Now, he fears reaching out to them, believing they hold him accountable for his mother's death and that they would rather not see him again. He also worries he will never meet the expectations he thinks his mother has for him.

Short Monologue:

"I'm never going to be the type of man that you want me to be; do not have any expectations when it comes to me. I have disappointed the people who cared about me more times than I can count, and I let them down instead of making them proud."
