Colour mapping with Chris Carter

I enjoyed every single assignment in this project: Looking very carefully at my daffodil, finding the matching colours, estimating the proportions of each colour, drawing my flower in pen and ink directly, selecting another object to paint with my found palette and finally zooming in and making a more abstract composition with the same colours.

I still have to make my cover and finish the book, but before assembling it I want to try at least one colour variation for my abstract composition.

I'll post a photo of my finished book later.

Thank you, Chris for this fun learning process!

I finished my project some time ago and want to add some pictures here!

Making the cover took a bit of time and thinking, but I enjoyed it also very much. I made a paper bead closure that I found in Helen H.'s class:Make a mini word trail book.
