I'm so glad that you're colored pencil confidence is growing, Em. This turned out wonderful! I love the play of cooler greens against the warm yellows/oranges. And keeping the open white space does a wonderful job of making the colored sections pop. I can't wait too see colored pencil pop up in your future art adventures. Thank you! This one started out more abstract but then I switched it up in the end and added a stem. I also debated on filling up the white space but couldn't decide what colors and kind of liked the white contrast, for now anyway.

You're welcome! Great job following your intuition on leaving the white space. And I really like that you added the stem. It's amazing how something so simple changes a piece and in this case moved it from abstract to more representational. I hope you keep working colored pencil into your art practice.
