I wanted to play around with the design style and apply it to one of my favorite Pokemon, Charmander!

I decided to add a dot pattern and add some glow effects for his tail. I think it really pops!

Afterwards I wanted to give this style so more depth so I added some depth to this illustration with some effects in photoshop. This part, however is not in the class, if you wanna add some cool texture to your Illustration check out Michael Fugoso's Class on his paper cut out Technique!

 

This has been a super fun project to work on and I love creating this style.
