Christmas Wreath Decor

Class Project
This is the Class Project for this course, Beginning Acrylics: Christmas Wreath Decor. You're welcome to make it any size that you prefer -- In the class, I'll be demonstrating on a 20" round, stretched canvas.
Materials
In addition to the canvas, you'll need some acrylic paint, brushes, water, etc. I have a materials list available under the Projects and Resources Tab for your convenience.
I'll take you step by step in each lesson and you can paint along with me, pausing as needed, or you can watch through and paint the project on your own. (If you have any questions, feel free to ask under the Discussions Tab. I check daily and will get back to you promptly.)
(You can also paint your project on a square canvas like the one depicted in the photo above.)
By completing this project, you'll get to learn as you paint, gaining confidence and developing muscle memory that will help you become a skilled painter. Hands-on learning uses both sides of the brain and it's invaluable for knowledge retention. So, I encourage you to pick up your brushes and don't be afraid to put them to the canvas and see where this painting can take you creatively!
In my Beginning Acrylics Series, I'll show you the ins and outs of this fabulous medium, one project at a time. As a professional decorative artist I've painted a lot over the decades and am eager to show you tips and tricks I've learned along the way.
Here's the links to the other classes in the Beginning Acrylics Series:
• Introduction to Acrylics and the Painting Process
• Florals with a Painterly Approach
• Painting Lovely Hearts Decor
• Painting a Swallowtail Butterfly Step by Step
Follow me to keep in the loop every time I roll out another class. You'll be sent an email message so you don't miss a class and you'll by privy to my giveaways, contests and challenges first off!
Submit Your Project
When you complete the Class Project, submit a photo of it under the Projects and Resources Tab to get valuable feedback from me and any others taking the class. You will also be able to see others' projects and comment on those as well. The student gallery is such a fun part of Skillshare.
I hoped this piqued your interest.
For beginners, the acrylic medium is a great place to start!
See you in class soon,
Brigitte
P.S.
• If you like working small, here's an ornament/gift topper idea!
• For a Spring wreath idea, you could take my class -- Beginning Acrylics: Florals with a Painterly Approach and create a flowery wreath like the one pictured above using the same process as outlined in this class.
You're welcome to post that as your Class Project if you'd prefer. ;)
