Choose A Direction & Take Action

I went through my notes for this class and highlighted certain themes and patterns that I noticed kept popping up throughout different exercises. Fitting everything into my ideal week might not be entirely possible right now, but I am going to start small and go from there. Here are some repeting ideas I noticed as well some small ways I can work on my time management, money, and confidence.

THEMES & PATTERNS

  1. New Experiences
  2. Travel
  3. Writing
  4. Relationships
  5. Music / Performance

The biggest sections in my pie charts were Writing, Relationships, Money, and New Experiences. I want to find manageable ways to incorporate these things into my daily life to enrich my experinces, find success through my new habits, and develop new skills for an eventual career pivot. These changs in habits might include journaling, scheduling social events, setting a daily timer to play music, find new things to do around town, be more intentional with my spending, and set small, but meaningful career goals for the year.

TIME MANAGEMENT

  • Use my free Mondays to work on my Skillshare education and side hustle
  • Add everything I want to do to my calendar
  • Be better at turning down social events that distract from my work time

MONEY

  • Track my spending habits with an app
  • Look into side hustles for a little extra money
  • Evaluate what tools I can afford to buy to help in my career pivot 4

CONFIDENCE

  • Personally, I get more accomplished when I work in private and without constant updates
  • I will share with others as a form of self-promotion, but with few personal details
  • I will practice asking for things with confidence
