Checklist
I’m going to share what I’ve done so far and what I’ve found valuable as an acrylic painter growing on Instagram.
@safae.creations is my art account where I share my original acrylic paintings and behind-the-scenes content. I also use the platform to connect with art lovers and sell my work online within Morocco.
Here’s what I’ve been doing so far:
-
I consistently create and post Reels showing the painting process and final reveals. These tend to get more reach and engagement than regular photos.
-
I also post high-quality pictures of finished pieces, both on canvas and framed, to showcase the final result clearly.
-
I use Instagram Stories to share daily painting updates packaging processes.
-
I’ve been creating Story Highlights for categories like: “Artworks,” “Behind the Scenes,” “Workshop” .
-
I’m actively researching other art creators, especially successful Moroccan and international painters, to understand their content strategies and stay inspired.
-
I try to engage right after I post, replying to comments and interacting with others to boost visibility and build relationships.
-
I’m experimenting with hooks at the beginning of Reels (like "Wait for the final result!" or “This took 10 hours to finish...”) and in captions to grab attention.
-
I’m still exploring which hashtags are most effective in my niche, avoiding overly saturated ones and trying more localized or niche-specific ones.
This process has helped me develop a better content flow, and I’m excited to keep building my community around acrylic art and creativity.
