I used the feathering tool as that came in handy for my candle glow and I also played  around with adding text....which took quite some time because it does have some quirks in my opinion and can be a little bit clumsy for me to use, but I do have a better grasp of using it. And I really love the feature to bring him the reference photo so I used that as well to see what my work look like from a smaller perspective. As yes, working up close, it looks vastly different than when further away. I do appreciate understanding the other tools, even though I may not use them in my artwork at least I know that these are possibilities.
