Nicely done Stephanie! Great choice of music It seems that the transition from one clip to another was not right on the beat of the music. That would explain why you feel something wasn't quite right. When you use similar clips, in your case Elda jumping on your lap, you can either change the clips on the beat or have her landing on your lap on the beat (the change of clip would be off beat and the action would be on beat). Beside that you did a great job with the editing and cutting the music to show the heated bed and the sound of you unplugging it just before going back with the music was spot on

There's no secret, practice makes the difference and you'll get better each time after editing a new video. 
You'll see that sometimes for the video to work perfectly, it can be a matter of a few tenths of a second for the music to match the images.
What software do you use to edit your video?

Funny cat video. I felt like the progression of the clips or audio, or something wasn't quite right, but I couldn't figure out what exactly.
