Hi Jill, I have only today realized that you posted your work here 4 months ago. I do not blame you if you throw some paint at me. I always look in my email but now see that I should also check here too. This is a very clean wet in wet. It has that misty undisturbed vibrance of this watercolor technique that is often disturbed and ruined by interfering with the drying time. If you turned it 90 degrees and gave it a green hue it would be a perfect misty forest scene. Hope to see more from you Jill...I promise to respond immediately.

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and encouragement!  I agree very much that a lot of the magic with watercolor happens when you let the paint dry without disturbing it or trying to speed it up with a heat gun or hairdryer.  

I love the idea of working this into a forest scene!! I'll make sure to share it when I try that out.
