I started this project with a biro pen that was difficult to control ink flow with. It was OK but I felt it lacked contrast. 

I found a brush pen to deepen the background and felt much happier with it.

 

This piece was done with my blue fountain pen, that I would love to master. I'm pleased with my result but I'm sure with practise I can improve on this. I might just fall in love with pens!
