Bugle Animation!

I started by creating a character design in Photoshop to use for reference. I made some changes during the animation to make it easier to animate and draw.I felt animating in Photoshop was overwhelming, even though Photoshop has much better brush tools than Animate. Yet, because Photoshop is not made for animation, I felt more comfortable using Animate for this.
The process took a long time, I admit I was frustrated at times trying to figure out how certain body parts would look, so I did what was suggested in the class and ended up recording myself and taking pictures of myself in key poses to better understand how to animate Bugle. At one point I messed up my rough sketching and did not use it for the line art, which you can tell. I also only did the basic coloring and missed a few spaces. But, overall, I was happy with how it turned out.
I worked on this on and off for a few weeks. And I think I pushed myself even though I wasn't necessarily at the level to do some of the things I wanted to do, so there was quite a bit of trial and error. But, it certainly feels good to see the finished animation and to want to go back and fix things; just not today :P
