Finding references

I went online to find a few pictures from the environment and areas of the blue mountain national park. Also looking for main attractions or landmarks to see what I can include into the design

 

I did a page of sketches of the variety of layouts that I was thinking of creating. This is a rough time of sketching and getting the ideas onto the paper.

 

I looked online for colors and because blue mountains actually appears blue if you look from far away and because of the certain atmosphere that is in I decided to go for a blue palette. The gold adds a nice touch as well because this site is a world heritage site.
