Bloomin’ Watercolor Fun

This didn't go where I wanted to take it. So, I let it have its way and used a damp brush to pull up some color. The serpintine look showed possibilities, so I ran with it. As I added marks, it was a magical process.
I enjoy playing with watercolor blooms, even deliberately make them occur just for the fun surprise. Not a perfect way to feel in control, but that can work wonders. The following vary in size, but most would fit on a card front. Most started out to be something else.

A square, about 4x4" witth a nice bloom.

This got a bit too runny, but it can be used for somthing!

Another that will end up on a card front or on a collage. Crazy bloom going on here!

I like the edges defined on this one.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so this is very good for me to lgo with the flow, to be creative, to be a learner, not a perfectionist.

Sometimes. if I have a small piece of leftover watercolor paper, I play around with wet on wet. It's an easy and focused way to chill a bit and feel peaceful. It's even fun to tear a 4x6" piece into a piece and to include painting on the edges where it's rippedl
Thanks for looking. Have fun and share your blooms!
