Warm-up exercises

Design
I decided to transform Red Riding Hood into the Big Bad Wolf, morphing one head into the other.

Sketches
I started sketching on paper and then moved to Photoshop.


I picked two colors (pink and black) + white, making the girl mostly pink with black accents, and the wolf mostly black with pink accents.


Plan the movement
I thought that the girl could come out of the mouth of the wolf.
She would then keep turning and revealing the wolf again, behind her hood.

In terms of timing, I started planning one second of still key-pose and one second of morphing in-between, but then made the morphing much faster as the animation developed.
