I enjoyed exploring modern calligraphy with Yasmina in this class. I viewed the lessons and followed along by filling out the practice worksheets she provided using Ohuhu alcohol markers and also my watercolors and watercolor brush. I did nearly a dozen worksheets! I found it challenging to do the strokes and know that it will take a great deal of practice but I do hope to develop my own style for modern calligraphy that I can use for my watercolor artwork.

I included only a few of my completed practice worksheets so as not to bore anyone, along with my class project which I wasn't particularly pleased with but I am a beginner with the lettering after all! :)  I'm not sure the Ohuhu markers I have are the best option for this and will explore others, along with improving with my watercolor and watercolor brushes.

All in all, it was an informative class. Thank you, Yasmina, for sharing your knowledge and encouraging us to learn something new.
