12x12 midcentury modern split.  We loved our original cabinets but the appliances were failing and the oven was a non-standard size.   The floor was coming up.  With Covid, limited storage space got even more limited.  We'd waited 20+ years to do this and with lots of research and a great contractor, the kitchen has nowhere to go but down..but what a joy to be able to fit a large frying pan in the sink.
