Becoming An Artist: Take any Creative Project from Concept to Completion

Thank you Brent! This is an amazing class! I didn't think about that artist projects need the plan. I usually would think and plan in my head. But it is very useful tools and processes that you show in the lessons! I will try to do something I've never done before and the plan will help me to organize things better.

I was thinking what kind of art I want to make and thankful to your example I put together making prints of the plants, leaves and flowers with a turmeric on paper and using shapes of cats for example that I drew on plastic film along with the plants.

I will add a few pictures later to demonstrate the steps and preparations. I did some research first. Gathered all materials. I made a few prototypes. And I am waiting for them to cure. My deadline will be on December 3.

I really like your idea! It's great especially for me as a not professional artist, more of a hobbyist.

I had a few clients who ordered me big watercolor paintings and thankful to your classes it was easy to draw and it was  successful projects that people were happy with!

I have an update. We finally got a good sunny day here and it helped me to finish my project.

It was not what I expected but close.

I would change the acrylic glass for a regular glass to secure my arrangements. And I found out that sap from the pine branches that I used reacted with the turmeric and alcohol surface paint and left strange stains on the paper.

Clear plastic film also was reacting with the paper. It made it white where they touched.

I ended up cutting the shapes out of a black paper. I think it was the best. I woukd use dry leaves next time, because how good they keep shape.

I was surprised by how good was the siluette of the flower in the vase I put in front of the paper.

Even little light beam that came throught the glass was visible!

I will post the pictures that worked.

I also took photographs on the sunset and I like how vibrant they are.
