I did the Inky Illustration class and wanted to try more.  I won't be printing this but it was still a fun one to do. Still no scanner but the iPhone seemed to work well for me... for now.

I really should take Tom's suggestion of spending more time here on the mock up. I think I got too excited and wanted to take everything to Photoshop.

It looked too flat to me and seemed to not have a human quality even though I did the details of the monkey by hand.

Added the textures for the final one and more motion on the wheels. Also faked the imperfect alignment of a letterpress:

All in all, after just a couple of days, I already feel more comfortable moving around in Photoshop.  Will keep on working at it.
