It's always nice to go back to basics and reaffirm our knowledge. I also learnt about oil pastels as a paint resist way  and I love it! that 2020 has personality. I almost never use lifting for drawing or scratching of the surface. Practicing it after a long time, made me realize how much potential they hold for extra effects. I still don't like gouache for anything else than stars in galaxy painting, and water drops on wet paint is still a pleasure to look at! such pretty effect! and I feel it gives a bolder effect when using cellulose paper like in this case.
