I initially put way too much masking fluid around the heart shape of face. When it came off I found I needed to redo the colors where the fluid had been there, and surprisingly, it looked very much like the reference photo with the kind of hard pieces there. If I did it again, I think I would try leaving the masking fluid on - it gave a 3D feeling to her face. A fun project!
