It's been a while since I took the class - and to be honest, I did not do any of the value studies although I still want to do that, but jumped right in with a project of my own.

I painted a tin in dark blue on a piece of card stock / Bristol paper (not watercolor paper but worked quite well for this) and then took it into Procreate to change the color, add highlights and shadows and then create a label over top. 

Really love the result and the combo of the hand painted look with the digital drawing. Could make the sides of the label even darker I think, it looks a bit flat still.
