I'm amazed by how we can achieve such beautiful results using only three colors and the right techniques. In this project, I explored color mixing, contrast, and light by painting a candle with a warm glow against a dark background.

For this work, I used materials that I already had: the watercolors "Amarelo Ouro" ART117, "Vermelho Mercúrio" ART110, and "Azul Ultramar" ART100, all from Artools Aquarela Misci. For the brushes, I used Cis Graph Brush 510, numbers 10 and 12.

I must say that I also used a makeup brush to wet the paper and spread the water on it. =)
