This is the actual size of my Converse sneaker! 9x12 paper… larger than I usually work with (like my fellow classmate John). I literally put the shoe on the page and drew a faint outline as a starting point. For color: I have the large set of Kuretake and I always take them out for Fab’s classes… I picked one complete row and used all the colors down the right side of the box :) I did add Kuretake liquid gold MICA ink instead of the regular gold in the box… much brighter. I am resisting the urge to go back and add more paint now that the drawing is done… Six AWE down and I can’t wait to see how it progresses from here (maybe it combines the fan requests to do people sketches with AWE?).
