Abstract Color Studies

I enjoyed exploring the transparency of my different art mediums in this quick and fun class.  Definitely a low stress way to jump start my creativity. I plan on making many more of these.

I used a Kingart fine line painting pen and india ink to make the lines in the top layer. I was having so much fun playing with the pen I added too many lines along with a few blobs. Once everything was completely dry I added a final layer of colored transparent wax from Traci Bautista.

The first one was so satisfying that I had to make more. Below is my second attempt with the watercolor layer applied with a fan brush and moved around with compressed air.  I also used metallic crayons which I seldom use, but were pefect for this project.
