After taking this course and getting a better understanding of session flow and how to record myself and seamlessly edit the session, I went back to an old song of mine that holds a lot of sentimental value and incorporated all of the new skills I obtained from completing the course in order to create a more professional sound. I got inspiration for this track from legends such as J. Dilla, Wu-Tang Clan, and a poem I heard about growing through life without a father. The song contains explicit lyrics and I chose not to edit them out in order to maintain authenticity, listener beware. The song is titled "Hey Dad, Pt. 1" and is available on all streaming platforms.
