Visual storytelling is one of my favorite things, and this course helps me create more realistic animations. The principles of animation really came to life for me here. For example, building anticipation for the main action (the doc injecting the magic serum into the patient with needle in the doc's one hand) by moving the other hand/arm first (Video 6).

I spent a lot of time on each video lesson (way more than Sonja) - I kid you not, wrote 50 pages of notes.

To help me stick with it—and this might help you out too if you're working through a course or a big project—I always finished with a little note to myself, like "Next: use my vs8.aep redo eyes in Video 5 b/c the patient char is missing an eye and she's not blinking-re-start at ~2:29 min". These notes helped me slide back in the next time I sat down to continue the course.

One other thing that helped me with being excited about continuing was that I finished on setting up my layers (shy-ing what I didn't need) when it was applicable so I didn't need to start the next learning session with admin steps, but could slide back into doing the creative stuff.
