I found this great to follow along with.  Although I didn't have any salt I decided to blot out some of the foreground to create a bit of a  texture.  I found  I had a little trouble with some of the second background layers, mainly the paint had dried a little quickly so it didn't blend in as well as I wanted.  I think it turned out ok though.
