Great UX

UX that presents itself as outstanding to me is Google Drive. The big game changer here was the ability to right click and copy a link. This allowed for easy sharability without the extra step of downloading, which takes a huge weight off of the user wishing to share files such as pdfs or documents. From my Google "waffle" it is simple to click on Drive. The softened edges make it look friendlier than the hard edges of past UX. It's easy to create folders with a simple plus icon, and right clicking allows easy sharability through email or through creating a hyperlink. The search bar allows for the user to quickly locate the file based on the name or even relevancy. If I had to critique Google Drive's platform, I would suggest that it allow for easier, quicker ways to organize drives based on algorithm and offer folders based on an interest inventory which could be collected through the critical journey. Great UX - image 1 - student project
