Ducks with Dudek! A group of ducks walking around is called a waddling. I love your little waddling Carmen. The granulation is fun as are their cute tail feathers.

I’m in love with this duck lesson. The color you chose for the heads and how the color washes in lovely contrast next to that beautifully painted beak is wonderful! I’ll spare you my story about our baby duck pet and how we raised her along with our Black Lab. I adore ducks, and I have this class tab open to try. Been busy and super-stressed lately, so time will tell when I get to it. Do you think I could paint some sort of a soft washy background first and paint the duckies on top? Best to you, dear Carmen! Lovely looseness despite the interruption. To me all you need to do is focus on leaving a little more white - that second duck is perfect and love the ink work on the lifted foot. There isn't anything wrong with the other ducks, I just like the whites you've left on the second one more. Cute tail feathers too.

Love them! Like Tamas Benko would say, allow yourself to make mistakes.  This is practice and I think it makes your piece very organic.

Not too happy but I can try again. I got interrupted right at beginning when first wash was being done with different colors and that was not helpful!
