There were several challenges to this challenge! I actually thought I had posted a few of these but apparently didn’t click PUBLISH! So here are the last few days...I swear I did them on their allotted days!!!! It truly was great to use different materials on different days, it made it feel more adventurous. I also felt the build up to the end, noticed a few short cuts (like big shapes first) and was proud of my stick-to-it-tive-ness necessary to complete the challenge. My door is now decorated with my household objects and I can even hear that little voice in my head due to all the notes! Thank you Ohn Mar Win, this was exactly what I needed! This is a favorite plate of mine and knew it would be challenging. Never mind 6 minutes, I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it in 20 minutes. But boy I was surprised at how much I captured in 6! I included a picture of the plate. I’m excited now that my next few days are with materials with brushes so I won’t get as caught up in the patterns (which I do find are the most fun!)I’m thinking it best to post now (a couple of days this time) to help ensure I keep going! Why did I pick between Thanksgiving and Christmas to start this? But it really can be 10 minutes out of my day so I should absolutely find the time! It is stressful using different materials and I’m already feeling quite challenged! I mostly work with oils or I draw with charcoal so I keep wanting to improve what I’ve done beyond the timeframe. Thank you for parameters...I must stop and accept what I can do up til the dreaded alarm and push myself to go faster by observing and committing to a line!Actually now I don’t hate it as much. I kind of like how I adapted and made color shifts.
