Hello, good afternoon. My project involves arranging several art pieces that have belonged to my family for generations. This type of composition is new to me, as I had previously only displayed artwork on the wall and had never created a vignette that incorporated both wall art and decorative objects on a table.

 

As you can see, there is an antique artwork on the wall, and beneath it, on the table, I have placed a selection of pieces: a set of books, a marble lamp with bronze details, and a handmade star. The orange triangle harmonizes with the orange book, creating a subtle but intentional visual connection.

 

The overall composition forms a triangular alignment in which the focal point is the framed painting. Its substantial, aged gold-leaf frame, along with the green and orange tones in the woman’s dress, resonates with the orange book and the colors of the star. Entering this space evokes meaningful memories associated with these family antiques.
