There’s a famous saying in photography: “The best camera is the one you have with you.” For many of us, that’s the iPhone. Join accomplished photographers Sean Dalton and Daniel Nwabuko as they guide you through the wonderful world of mobile photography, from lighting and location to editing with mobile apps. This workshop is for photographers at any level who want to improve their mobile photography skills. You’ll need an iPhone and access to the Adobe Lightroom software.

Workshop Timeline

Milestone 1: First, join Sean Dalton in iPhone Photography Essentials, where you’ll get an easy-to-follow crash course in how to scout out cool locations, compose balanced shots, utilize lighting, and add stylistic touches to create stellar photos. You’ll also get Sean’s pro tips on how to efficiently navigate iPhone camera controls and take advantage of features like Portrait Mode and Pano mode. This class will give even first-time iPhone users the confidence to start taking phenomenal photos. Share your work in the Project Gallery by May 31st.
Milestone 2: Next up, in What Makes a Good Photo: A Beginners Guide to Editing in Lightroom, photographer Daniel Nwabuko will show you how to take your new photos to the next level using Adobe Lightroom. In this friendly and accessible class, you'll learn how to balance color and lighting to create more polished and professional photographs. Share your work in the Project Gallery by June 14th.
