Bring a summer vibe into your home.
In this beginner-friendly watercolor class, we will be painting a little beach scene with a palm tree to bring that special summer feeling to your own gallery wall! Not everyone lives on a tropical island, or is able to visit some exotic destination. But you can bring a touch of that beach feeling to your living room by painting images that reminds you of summer. 
This class is divided into a series of mini projects that will give you the building blocks to create your final beach scene. Make sure to create your mini project alongside me throughout the class, and post them in the Project Gallery as you’re finished with each one for feedback, so we can all see your progress. Practicing with these mini projects will give you the confidence to expand your creativity, and create a final project of your own.
We will be covering:
<ul><li>short introduction of watercolor materials</li>
<li>mixing colors to create a color palette</li>
<li>practicing some basic brush strokes</li>
<li>painting background gradient thumbnails, which are useful for any type of landscape</li>
<li>painting a little beach scene</li>
<li>exploring different types of palm trees</li>
<li>in the final project we'll combine these elements: the background gradient, beach scene and palm tree.</li>
<li>and as a little bonus, we'll add an inspirational summer quote.</li>
