In this 2 hour class you'll be learning how to create a fantasy character portrait from imagination in Adobe Photoshop, without the use of references or a preliminary line drawing. 
I'll begin by explaining 3 fundamental exercises to understand simple forms, construction and being able to paint from your imagination.
Then we'll paint a portrait entirely from imagination, with no references or preliminary line drawing.  The portrait takes around 75 minutes to paint and is shown in real-time, broken into 9 different phases with full narration explaining my steps and workflow.
I explain how to quickly create a sketch by carving out shapes with simple values, develop the sketch further to fill out the design of the character, clean up the edges and easily add a simple background, and finally easy methods for colourising the greyscale painting and polishing it further.  You will learn the brushes, tools and layer types I use with an explanation of how I use them.
I have designed this class as an overview of my painting process, primarily for digital painters of an intermediate skill level looking to explore a different workflow, but I've packed the class with such a large amount of information that I'm confident beginner and advanced artists will also benefit from watching and working along with the course.
This class can be completed with any drawing tablet, as long as it has pressure sensitivity.  The brushes I use are also supplied.
