machine embroidery, dolls, puppets

Make your own engaging human hand and rod puppet using supplies easily available at your local fabric and craft store. You can entertain people of all ages with your own custom boy or girl puppet.  (ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ)

• Pages print on both US letter and A4-sized papers.
• The finished puppet is about 10″ tall and fits most hand sizes from child to adult.
• This pattern is appropriate for beginner puppet makers with some knowledge of sewing
• Instructions include clear color photos and a link to the free video tutorial
• These puppets can be machine washable when instructions are followed

• The Instructions document has a full page of details about these tools and materials, all of which can be found at your local fabric and craft store.
• TOOLS NEEDED: needle and threads for hand-sewing and (optional) sewing machine, scissors, fabric marking pen, pins or clips, (Optional) turning tubes or other tool for turning small fingers
• MATERIALS NEEDED: 2/3 yard of fleece, 1/2 yard stretchy fabric, faux fur for wig, Fiberfill, 28mm fabric covered button kit and white stretch fabric to cover them, stabilizer, Fabric Glue, Felt circles for eye pupils, Rigid mouth-plate (you can probably find in your recycling bin), 1 or 2 arm rods (12” or longer wood dowel, stiff wire, purchased arm rods, etc)
• NO FOAM or CONTACT CEMENT is used in this pattern. That means this puppet is safer, cheaper, and faster to build! But it still looks like the ones on TV. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

• Ballyhoo Creations allows you to sell handmade finished items you make with this pattern. Full license details are in the Pattern Instructions.
