About this product
3D Tudor
Bestselling Blender Author & 3D Educator
Create the rural details that make a 3D scene feel lived in. Build rectangular hay bales, rolled bales, loose straw piles, fitted cart loads, ground scatter and multiple thatched-roof styles without placing every straw by hand.
The 3D Tudor Hay Shader Pack is a downloadable Blender toolkit combining PBR texture sets, alpha-card clusters, trim sheets, editable support forms and a flexible Scatter on Surface Geometry Nodes workflow. It gives you a faster starting point while keeping shape, density and final art direction under your control.

WHAT YOU CAN CREATE
• Rectangular bales and stacks
• Two rolled-bale variations
• Reshapeable loose hay piles
• Hay fitted into carts, wagons, troughs and storage spaces
• Hay-covered ground and loose-straw patches
• Dry rural vegetation
• Messy, layered and long directional thatch roofs
• Detailed eaves, roof edges and ridges
EDITABLE WORKFLOW
Choose the closest starting asset, reshape or scale its support mesh, then adjust density, spacing, distribution, masks, alignment, scale, rotation, seeds and randomisation. Keep the setup procedural while you work; when an export pipeline needs actual mesh geometry, duplicate the final asset, realise the instances and convert the result.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
• 1 Blender project file
• 23 core prototype objects
• Bale, rolled-bale, pile, ground, decal, flyaway, vegetation and trim assets
• Two roof-surface approaches and three demonstrated thatch looks
• Three prepared example compositions and a roof comparison collection
• 11 PBR texture sets with 62 standalone PNG maps
• 45 maps at 2K and 17 maps at 1K
• All normal and height maps at 2K in 16-bit format
COMPATIBILITY
Created as a Blender 5.1-era project and verified in Blender 5.2 LTS. Prepared for Cycles. Earlier Blender versions have not been tested. Example compositions are included; cameras and lighting are not included. This is a downloadable digital product, not a video class.
For engine export, realise and convert the required procedural assets, then check materials, transparency, normals, scale and evaluated geometry for the destination.
Created by Neil Bettison and the 3D Tudor team.
