In this course, I have provided practical methods to help you create a pleated skirt with any measurements. I understand this pleated skirt is considered a flared skirt, so it hangs from the waist. As a result, the side seam of the skirt must fall at the natural side seam of the body when it is worn in this area. For this, a formula is given to ensure this is the case. Attention is also given to the fact that the front and back portions of the human body are not equal. For this, the calculations provided ensure that the phenomenon is accounted for. Special attention is given to creating the facing and calculating the length of the skirt. The function of the position of the grainline is given attention in easy steps.
