Neil Swaab is a freelance art director and illustrator with a specialization in children's publishing. In his 20 year career, Neil has art directed, designed, and/or illustrated hundreds of books, including many New York Times bestsellers, for publishers including Little, Brown; HarperCollins; Penguin Random House; Simon & Schuster; Macmillan; Algonquin; Abrams; Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; and Lee & Low, among others. His work has been recognized by such organizations as The Society of Illustrators, Print Magazine, Communication Arts, The Type Directors Club, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also an adjunct professor at Parsons the New School for Design, where he teaches in the Illustration Department.
