Hello, I'm Ming.
I’m a comic artist and illustrator from Beijing, China, now based in Belgium. I also studied and worked in Tokyo, Japan for many years.
I participated in illustration/comic projects for books and magazines, held exhibitions, self-published my comics, and taught courses in universities and organizations.
Currently, my new comic has been selected for the Japanese manga award(Torch comicsトーチ漫画賞), and I hope it will be published in the future.
I love storytelling—both through words and images. My inspiration often comes from the things I cherish: breathtaking landscapes, beautiful people, unique art forms, and the magic of experimental workshops.
On Skillshare, I’ll be sharing my favorite techniques for creating illustrations, watercolors, and comics. You’ll also learn how to weave storytelling into your creative projects, making your work more meaningful and impactful.
When I’m not here, I teach at art institutions, guiding students of all skill levels in their creative journeys. My classes are filled with experimental workshops designed to spark inspiration and help you explore new techniques.
