Mike is an author and artist living in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife Katrin (who is also a children's book illustrator) and his incredibly genius kids. Mike’s work has been seen on everything from greetings cards to dozens of children’s books to gallery walls worldwide. 

 He's currently writing and illustrating a series with Scholastic starting with "EVERYTHING AWESOME ABOUT DINOSAURS."  

His illustration clients include: Scholastic, Dial Books for Young Readers, @orkman publishing, Hallmark, Simon and Schuster, Penguin Random House, Walker Books for young readers, Nick Jr magazine, Gallison/Mudpuppy, GP Putnam and Sons, Viking, Macmillan, Georgia pacific, American Greetings, Disney, Highlights Magazine, Kids Can Press, as well as many Graphic Design and Advertising Agencies. He frequently travels nationally to give talks about art and books to schools, universities, and bookstores.
