Hello!  My name is Jill Condon and I am a self-taught watercolor artist based in Minnesota. 

I had always considered myself an "artsy" kind of person when I was young, but then life and all the day to day minutiae took over and art fell to the wayside.  I hadn't picked up a brush in years.

All that changed for me about a year ago when I made the decision to take a year off from work after reaching a level of burnout that left me feeling like a shell of my former self.  That was when I picked up watercolor painting again.

I felt happier than I had in years.

I never thought that art education would be something I would like, but when Skillshare reached out to me inviting me to apply to the Summer Teach Challenge, I thought, why not give it a try?  I like painting, I like taking the classes on Skillshare, why not try to learn some new skills in the process like how to edit video and record voiceovers.

Little did I know just how much I would enjoy the planning, shooting the video, recording the script, editing it all together.
