so much joy!

so much joy! - image 1 - student projectthe first idea is one from the list: put frowers to someones doorstep. when i collected them, the old man i wanted to bring them, saw me, so i had to change the recipient. this was a woman in the house i live in, and when i entered, another neigbour saw me. so i secretly think, this might spread the idea in my apartment house quickly ;-). this makes me smile and happy! and i start a list in my bullet journal with all the upcoming ideas for secret kindness :-).thank you so much for this beautiful and inspiring class, lucy!

i continued with sending a piece of babyclothes (i sew) instead of bringing it when i see the family next time. maybe this will not be top  secret, but it carries a hopefully inspiring picture, and there will be a change in the weather after tomorrow. i still feel smiling very broadly and full of joy (and the necessity to continue working now).

the next idea was to create a coupon for a stroll, walk outdoors in nature, which also encourages the recipient to be kind to her-/himself.  i distributed 16 of them. unfortunatedly i lost all the photos from these places. some places i gave/put them reminded me of "guerilla art", and some felt very personal. i found out, that if i place them so, that the finder feels ment personally (for instance in a letterbox, on the windhield, in their bag), it feels much "warmer" than if he/she/them has to pick them from a place like a flyer-holder, a crease in a train station ticket machine or so. in the fist case, i felt a very warmhearted joy, in the latter more of a cheeky joy.

today, i was not very original, but active with all of your inspiration: first, i put a kind note in a neighbours letterbox.

then i took the inspiration with the bookmarks and put some into books in a public bookshelf (the original picture is upright - i dont know, how i can turn it):

and then i found some litter and collected it, i took the can home into the recycling bin:

now i am thinking about a not so secret but very personal card and ask for your ideas: sunday i visit my mother who suffers from cancer and will die in the next few months. i know that she likes the cards i draw, but i have no idea, what i could draw and write. any suggestions?

i was pregnant with ideas - and this evening, when i was walking in the forest and collecting mushrooms to bring to my mother tomorrow, i knew what to draw (my mother has a special connection to these mushrooms):

today i will make a phonecall. not so secret as well, but a bit of a hurdle for me and a great joy for her.

((and i would be glad to win a year of skillshare - i would keep it for me, because i am on a very tight budget, and i will certainly still use skillshare next year.))

today i got secret again (and had the idea, that i could make this a habit (kind of batch-acts of secret acts of kindness) to make a bigger impact: i just walked around the block with a bag and collected the rubbish i saw (and recycle the materials accordingly)  and some flowers. today i could bring the flowers to the door / window of the old neigbour, without being seen ;-).

i feel so glad and honored having won the 1 year of skillshare!so much joy! - image 12 - student projecti feel like a "glückspilz"! (and one secret act of kindness i practice since a long time is to use a small mirror when i collect mushrooms: so i can see underneath the mushroom without disturbing it, if i dont want to eat it).

and to continue spreading secret acts of kindness, i came up with 3 reminders:

1) when i have an empty jar, instead of directly recycling it, i clean and use it as a vase for a neigbour

2) i placed a felted mushroom from my doughter in my creativity sanctuary ( i made in the class " Peculiar Prompts for All-Round Creatives: Gain Confidence & Find Your Flow" from lucy. here it is: https://skl.sh/49arQQS

3) when i get notified about my skillshare teacher payment, this should remind me to post here.
