Doing Drawing: Draw Like You Never Have Before

Nice range of drawing styles - the uniqueness of each pup is fun and then those detailed realistic brushes are beautifully rendered.

Hey YK, our next course is "Color Beginnings" and I know you will like it as we are going to be using some of the cadmium colors ( Yellow and Red). They are thicker paints and very rich. The class first class is all about complimentary colors and adjacent colors.  Your work is full of fun!!! The realistic brushes shows skill and concentration. Form is very important for the start of our artistic carreer. We need to know that we can draw as we see things. Next is the wonderful richness of color. Put form and color together and you have something that can really move your audience, Here are two examples of what I mean using some of my recent non-objective art. <img src="https://static.skillshare.com/uploads/parentClasses/9135e0068eeede3ccfc270ebbc2b3647/a97171d0" class="zoomable rounded-image-wrapper" alt="a97171d0" /> Here is a one of my acrylic landscapes that uses  a complimentary  red -green and orange -blue <img src="https://static.skillshare.com/uploads/parentClasses/9135e0068eeede3ccfc270ebbc2b3647/11806a8e" class="zoomable rounded-image-wrapper" alt="11806a8e" />color combo. Below is a close up of one of my larger non -objective works. You can see how luminous the red is and how it is surrounded by a muted green and violet.
